Employee Spotlight: Meet Ariana, Accounting Specialist at North Shore Trust and Savings
Building a Strong Foundation Behind the Scenes
As an Accounting Specialist at North Shore Trust and Savings, Ariana plays an essential role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. Since joining the bank in 2024, she has become a trusted member of the team, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, vendors are paid on time, and important financial records remain organized and accessible.
While customers may not always see her work firsthand, Ariana knows that every detail matters. Whether she’s assisting with loan closings, processing wires, reviewing transactions, or supporting the retail banking team, her efforts help ensure customers’ accounts are handled with the care and accuracy they deserve.
Currently pursuing her Associate’s Degree in Accounting at the College of Lake County, Ariana says working at North Shore Trust and Savings has given her a real-world perspective that can’t be found in a classroom alone.
“I’ve learned that it’s okay to ask questions, pay attention to the details, and always look at the bigger picture,” Ariana says. “This role has helped me grow both professionally and personally.”
Outside of work, Ariana stays busy balancing school, spending time with her close-knit family, and staying active. She enjoys working out with her cousins, discovering new restaurants, taking her energetic dog for walks, and relaxing with her cats. Summer and fall are her favorite seasons, especially when they mean sunny days with family or crisp autumn afternoons with a great cup of coffee.
Ariana’s dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to continue learning make her an important part of the North Shore Trust and Savings team. We’re proud to have her helping support our customers and fellow employees every day.
