March Spotlight: Alma

Alma has been an essential part of North Shore Trust and Savings since 2004, serving as an Assistant Branch Manager. With nearly two decades of experience, she plays a crucial role in supporting both customers and the team every day.

Alma is committed to promptly responding to inquiries, actively listening to customer concerns, and always going the extra mile to exceed expectations. Whether it’s solving a problem or simply having a meaningful conversation, she believes that a little kindness can make someone’s day.

One of the things Alma loves most about her career is the opportunity to constantly learn. Every day brings new experiences and interactions with different clients, which makes her feel like she truly belongs in this field. The variety of challenges and learning opportunities keep her engaged and passionate about her work.

Beyond her role at the bank, Alma takes pride in giving back to the community. She volunteers at events such as Feed My Starving Children and finds joy in participating in activities at her children’s school. Being involved in community events and supporting local initiatives is something she values deeply.

A fun fact about Alma is that when music plays, there is no stopping her from dancing. Music and movement bring her happiness, and she never misses a chance to enjoy the rhythm.

Outside of work, Alma enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. She is a proud soccer mom who loves taking her son to his soccer games and tournaments, while also balancing time supporting her daughter’s boxing and swim classes. Between sports, school, and family time, Alma and her husband have their hands full. Despite the busy schedule, family remains her top priority, and she cherishes the moments spent with her parents as well.
