Team Spotlight: Emely, Universal Banker at North Shore Trust & Savings

At North Shore Trust and Savings, our team is the heart of everything we do. This month, we’re excited to shine a spotlight on Emely, one of our dedicated Universal Bankers who joined us in 2024.

In her role, she is passionate about providing excellent customer service and making every customer feel welcome. On a daily basis, she helps with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, but what sets her apart is the care she takes in listening to customers’ needs. Whether it’s walking someone through their very first banking experience, answering questions about loan options, or simply offering a friendly smile, she ensures that every interaction is meaningful. She especially enjoys introducing customers to banking tools and resources that make managing their finances simpler and more convenient.

One of the most rewarding parts of her career is the chance to learn and grow every day. The position has sharpened her attention to detail, expanded her financial knowledge, and strengthened her communication skills. She finds fulfillment in knowing that even the simplest transaction can brighten someone’s day, and that mindset motivates her to keep raising the bar in customer service.

Outside of the bank, summertime is her favorite season. Warm weather gives her energy, and she enjoys walking along the beach or at the park, having picnics, and attending fairs with her family. Time with her son is especially important, whether it’s exploring new places together or enjoying everyday moments at home. She also loves cooking, reading, and trying new recipes, which bring balance and happiness to her life.
