Spotlighting 25 Years of Service: Nancy’s Journey at North Shore Trust & Savings

On February 5, 2026, we are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone at North Shore Trust & Savings, Nancy’s 25th work anniversary. Since joining NSTS in 2001, Nancy has been a steady, trusted presence for our customers and our team, bringing experience, care, and commitment to every role she has held.

Nancy currently serves as our Regulatory Compliance Specialist, but her journey at NSTS reflects the heart of community banking. She began her career as a teller and then moved through roles including receptionist, loan servicing, and loan closer, gaining a full understanding of the customer experience from start to finish. That depth of knowledge allows her to support both customers and colleagues with insight that can only come from hands-on experience across departments.

What Nancy loves most about her career is being part of meaningful life moments. From opening a first account to helping customers purchase or refinance a home, she has seen the joy, excitement, and milestones that define our customers’ financial journeys.

Outside of work, Nancy is deeply involved in the community, volunteering with Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity, the Lakes Community High School dance team, and the FC Lake County soccer team. Giving back has always been important to her, just as it is to NSTS.

A fun fact many may not know is that right out of high school, Nancy dreamed of becoming a flight attendant. While life took her in a different direction after September 11, her love of travel never faded. She enjoys exploring new places and making memories with her family and has traveled throughout the U.S., Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and most recently, Puerto Rico.

Nancy also treasures time with her husband and two children, cheering on her daughter at dance competitions and her son on the soccer field.
