North Shore Trust and Savings Team Member Spotlight: Meet Carissa Schoolcraft

We are excited to shine the spotlight on Carissa Schoolcraft, our Chief Financial Officer at North Shore Trust and Savings. Carissa joined our team in 2020 and holds a Masters of Accountancy from Truman State University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

As CFO, Carissa plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting for new business ventures, ensuring the stability and growth of our bank. Her contributions are vital not only in daily operations but also in strategic financial planning and management. Carissa’s passion for her career is evident. She thrives on learning new things and embracing challenges, citing the excitement of taking the bank public as a highlight of her career.

Outside of work, Carissa is involved in the community as a member of the Audit Committee for Cunningham Children’s Home. When she’s not balancing the books or contributing to the community, Carissa enjoys spending time with her family. She is the proud mother of a 1.5-year-old daughter, Kennedy, who occupies most of her “free” time. Carissa also has a 6-year-old mini goldendoodle named McKinley, who she describes as the light of her life. Together with her husband, she loves to travel and play golf.

A fun fact about Carissa is her love for attending sporting events, showcasing her spirited and enthusiastic side. Whether it’s professional or recreational, she enjoys the energy and excitement of the game.
