Angel Acosta

Angel Acosta, Deposit Operations Manager at North Shore Trust and Savings, has been a valued member of the team since 2008. With an Associate in Applied Science degree and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician, Angel brings a diverse educational background and dedication to every role he’s taken on. Starting as a teller, Angel steadily progressed through the positions of supervisor and assistant branch manager to his current role. His extensive experience has equipped him with in-depth knowledge of NSTS products and procedures, allowing him to provide exceptional support to customers and coworkers alike. He also contributes by lending his expertise across several areas when needed and updating procedures to ensure more efficient processes.

Angel thrives on the opportunity to help others, describing his favorite part of the job as the daily interactions with customers and coworkers. A self-proclaimed “people person,” Angel finds immense joy in assisting where he’s needed and building relationships with members of the community. His passion for serving others also extends beyond the workplace. Angel actively participates in a local school fundraising raffle that benefits children’s education and enjoys supporting and attending other community events.

Outside of work, Angel’s love for travel has led him to explore the world. During one memorable trip, he visited five countries—England, France, Spain, Italy, and Germany—in just 12 days. This past summer, he had the unforgettable experience of being in Paris during the Olympics, cheering on Team USA and Team Mexico. When he’s not traveling, Angel cherishes spending time with his spouse Balta, son Lorenzo, niece Mila, and nephew Milo. He’s also an avid fan of Cubs games and concerts, often making time for both.
