This month, we are proud to shine a spotlight on Sandy, a dedicated Universal Banker who has been part of the North Shore Trust & Savings family for more than two decades. Since opening the Sand Lake Rd Branch in 2004, she has been a steady source of support, positivity, and exceptional service for both customers and colleagues.

Sandy’s approach to serving customers is simple yet powerful: she listens. Every interaction is guided by care, kindness, and a genuine desire to help customers accomplish what they need. Whether she is assisting with everyday banking questions or guiding someone through an important financial decision, Sandy ensures each person feels supported every step of the way. For her, the heart of the work has always been the people. She finds deep fulfillment in helping customers solve problems, discover solutions, and feel more confident and secure in their financial journey.

Her commitment to service extends well beyond the bank. Sandy is active in her church and women’s prayer group, volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House, and participates in community events. She also brings her warmth and creativity into the kitchen. Cooking is one of her greatest joys, whether she is preparing food for family gatherings, work celebrations, or church events. Her happy place is anywhere with sun and water, and she makes time each day for prayer and reflection.

Outside of work, Sandy treasures time with her family. She enjoys trips to South Lake Tahoe, spontaneous adventures to explore new towns or trails, and special girls’ trips to Lake Geneva with her daughter. Their sweet pitbull, Mocha (short for Mochaccina), often joins the fun. On her travel wishlist you’ll find Serbia and Italy, though Sandy believes fun can be found anywhere, even in the simple joy of discovering a new place close to home.
